横倉山の安徳天皇陵その5 - 徘徊する魂　 Traveling Alone !　

第3駐車場を出発してから約50分で(杉原神社と横倉宮見物等の時間を含む)「安徳天皇陵参考地」の参道登り口に到着

陵墓まで続く石段を登っていく

陵墓正面にある石製鳥居が見えてきた。
向こうから降りてくるのは駐車場で唯一見かけた神戸ナンバー登山装備の3人連れ。往復2時間ほどの滞在中に遭遇したのはこの家族のみ

安徳天皇陵墓参考地
文治元年(1185)の屋島壇ノ浦の戦いで天皇の身代りを立てた本隊を下関壇ノ浦に向かわせ、幼帝安徳天皇を擁した平家一門はひそかに四国に上陸した。1年数ヶ月の潜幸の後ここ横倉山に辿り着き終焉の地としたが、正治二年(1200)に御歳二十三歳で崩御しこの地に奉葬される。天皇が従臣らと蹴鞠をされた所と伝えられ、地元では「鞠ヶ奈呂（まりがなろ）陵墓参考地」ともいう。ここ西隣は、天皇が乗馬の練習をされた「御馬場跡」と言われている。
明治十六年「御陵伝説地」に、昭和元年「陵墓参考地」に指定。正式には「越智陵墓参考地」。県内では唯一の宮内庁所管地として陵墓守を配置している。

Antoku Imperial Quasi Mausoleum

In 1185 the army of the Heike family,in support of the young Emperor Antoku,fought against the Genji family at Yashima.When faced with defeat,some of the Heike troops,with a dummy emperor,successfully escaped from the war towards Shimonoseki with the entire Genji army in pursuit.The real Emperor Antoku safely reached Shikoku with his faithful Heike supporters.They had secertly wandered for more than a year,and finally settled down here in Mt.Yokogura.Emperor Antoku passed away at the age of 23 in 1200,and was buried in this place.This isu said to be his favorite place,where he and his supporters enjoyed kemari(sport like soccer)and so this place came to be called "Mari-ga-naro grave".The west area is thought to be where Emperor Antoku practiced horse riding.
In 1883 Japanese Government declaerd this grave tu be a Goryo-densetsu-chi(acknowledging its importance to local folkore).Then in 1926 it was redesignated as an officially recognized grave,and awarded the name of Ochi Imperial Quasi Mausoleum.it is the only such place in Kochi Prefecture,which was recognized by Imperial Household Agency,and has a government custodian.
